Nominate An Outstanding Victorian Woman Today

The Andrews Labor Government is asking Victorians to highlight the contributions of outstanding women leaders.

Acting Minister for Women Jill Hennessy today opened nominations for the 2019 Victorian Honour Roll of Women which acknowledges and celebrates the achievements of women from across the state.

The Honour Roll has inducted more than 600 Victorians since the program began in 2001.

Inductees come from all walks of life and have each demonstrated inspirational leadership or excellence in a range of fields.

Nominations are open for a six-week period and anyone can nominate. Nominators will need to complete an online form and provide two letters of reference for their nominee.

Highlighting the achievements of Victorian women is part of the Government’s gender equality strategy, Safe and Strong. It includes various initiatives to promote women in leadership and decision-making roles.
