Premier’s New Charity Event To Raise Money For A Worthy Cause
Premier Daniel Andrews has joined star Victorian golfer Jarrod Lyle to announce a new charity event being organised by the PGA to raise money for the Royal Children’s Hospital.
Mr Andrews will take to the Royal Melbourne Golf Course for the fundraising event, Fore The Kids, in February next year.
The competition will bring professional, corporate and celebrity golfers to the iconic course, to raise funds for the state-of-the-art specialist paediatric hospital which has cared for Victoria’s children and their families for 140 years.
The teams will compete at Royal Melbourne before attending a gala dinner after play concludes.
The money raised will go towards the Royal Children’s Hospital Foundation, with funds going towards patient care, equipment and research.
The inaugural Premier’s Cup will be played on February 1.
