Minister Congratulates Victoria’s Marngrook Footy Show

Minister for Aboriginal Affairs, Natalie Hutchins, has congratulated the Marngrook Footy Show on its 2015 Logie nomination.

Chosen under the Most Popular Sports Program category, this is the first Logie nomination for the Marngrook Footy Show.

Ms Hutchins said the nomination reflected the show’s fresh approach and insightful perspective on the Australian Football League (AFL).

Marngrook features news, game previews, interviews and live music performances, with an emphasis on the stories of past and present Aboriginal players.

Marngrook is filmed and directed in Victoria and airs Thursday nights at 7:30pm on NITV. Logie Award winners will be officially announced on Sunday, 3 May, 2015.
