Only Labor will build Taylors Hill Senior School

Daniel Andrews announced last week that a Labor government will build a new senior secondary school in Taylors Hill.

Labor has a $1.3 billion plan to fix our schools, rescue our TAFEs, bring back Tech Schools and help struggling parents with the costs of uniforms, breakfasts, camps, sport and excursions.

Labor will help the families that the Liberals left behind, because we want every child to get every chance. Labor will:

  • Establish a $150 million Camps, Sports and Excursions Fund, to make sure that every school and every child can participate.
  • Provide school uniforms and shoes to struggling families, and in a $15.5 million partnership with State Schools Relief.
  • Provide free eye tests and glasses for kids at 250 disadvantaged schools.
  • Invest $13.5 million to fund 500 breakfast clubs at disadvantaged schools, serving meals to 25,000 children every day.

It’s time to put the money back into our education system. Under Labor, Victoria will be the education state.
